Upstream Songwriting Retreat
The UpStream Songwriting Retreat creates time and space for songwriting, as well as inspires your intention as a songwriter. Coaches, Phoebe Hunt, Clay Rose, and Daniel Rodriguez will lead you through this 3 1/2 day exploration. Retreat size 20-30. Workshop size 10-15. Recording group size 4-5.
Thursday
A welcome dinner provided with a short talk by Clark from Chase the Music followed by a performance by Eben Grace and Billy Shaddox of Lyons. This is open to the public with no cover charge.
Friday
Full day of workshops--2 hours with each coach. We will provide a simple lunch. There will be scheduled time for writing and collaborating after the workshops, with coaches present to offer assistance when requested.
Saturday
Structured like Friday.
In the evening, a Listening Show will be presented by our resident coaches, Phoebe Hunt, Daniel Rodriguez, and Clay Rose. This is a ticketed event, open to the public. Admission is included with tuition.
Sunday
Spend the day in Lyons--Colorado's mini Nashville. Record a demo at Animal Lane Studio with Charlie Rose along with your writing collaborative writing group of 4 or 5 people, and perform a few songs at local venues.
